Hajj 2027 registration for UK pilgrims: not open yet

Registration and package booking for Hajj 2027 have not opened yet on Nusuk Hajj, the official platform for pilgrims from the UK. You can still book with us now: we take your details in advance and apply on Nusuk for you as soon as it opens. Here is how to get ready, and how to spot the scams that appear every year.

What this means for you.

  • Nusuk Hajj has not opened yet. As of 31 October 2026, it says packages and payment "will be available at a later time". No opening date has been announced.
  • You can book with us now. We take your booking in advance and apply on Nusuk Hajj on your behalf as soon as it opens, so you don't miss the first days.
  • Every Hajj place is confirmed through Nusuk. The UK government says Hajj places can only be booked through the official Nusuk Hajj platform, and registering does not guarantee a place.
  • Get your documents ready: a passport with plenty of validity, a recent photo, and a separate email address and mobile number for each traveller.

Where things stand.

Hajj 2027 is expected around 15 to 20 May 2027, with the Day of Arafah around 16 May, depending on the moon. Pilgrims from the UK go through Nusuk Hajj, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's official platform. Its site currently offers a "Register your interest" form, but says packages and payment will be available later and that registering does not guarantee acceptance.

Based on previous years, the Council of British Hajjis expects registration to open around late October or early November, but the Ministry has not confirmed any dates. We will post an update here as soon as it does, and we will start applying for everyone who has booked with us straight away.

How to get ready now.

Check your passport. Make sure it will still be valid well beyond your return date, and renew it now if it is close. Saudi visas need at least six months' validity.

Set up an email address and mobile number for each person. Nusuk accounts need their own contact details, so a family travelling together will need one for each traveller. Keep your phone to hand when registration opens, as Nusuk may send you codes to confirm.

Have a recent passport-style photo ready, and plan your meningitis ACWY vaccination: you need a valid certificate to travel.

Book early. Places are limited and allocated by quota, and packages go quickly once booking opens. Booking with us now means your details are ready and we can apply for you on the first day. Our Hajj 2027 page shows our three tiers and what each includes.

How to avoid Hajj scams.

The UK government warns that UK-based organised crime groups target people planning Hajj or Umrah. The warning signs are the same every year: someone offering a "guaranteed" place before booking opens, selling a Hajj visa directly, or asking you to pay into a personal bank account.

Your place is only confirmed once it is approved and booked on Nusuk Hajj. Use a company you can check, get everything in writing, pay by card where you can, and keep your receipts. If you think you have been targeted, report it to Action Fraud.
